Graphic Design Assistant

Spectra Merchandising International (www.spectraintl.com), a leading Consumer Electronics Company is looking to hire a Graphic Designer to assist with the company's product and website design activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

§         Design and create new product packaging

§         Work with existing package designs or those created by our licensors and adapt to other models under the same brand name

§         Create mock-up packages for use in sales meetings and trade shows

§         Design and implement materials for tradeshow support and sales meetings

§         Website support and updates

§         Develop new website design and implement changes; make recommendations on website navigation improvements

§         Develop and design sales collateral material

§         Set-up and execute photo shoots of products for packaging, sales materials and for the company website

§         Monitor department supplies/software upgrades

§         Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

§         Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts and/or equivalent experience

§         2 or more years of marketing experience

§        2 or more years of graphic design and web design experience in PC based graphic/desktop publishing software (Illustrator/Photoshop, Coral Draw, Front Page and Dreamweaver)

§         Packaging design experience strongly preferred

§         Proficient in the use of spreadsheet and word processing software

§         Strong communication and writing skills
